FOUNDER & ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Brittany Fleet

Founder · Artistic Director · Dance Educator & Mentor

A graduate of SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance, where she earned her BFA in Dance, Brittany Fleet is a professional dancer, educator, choreographer, and mentor dedicated to developing the next generation of artists.

As a teacher, choreographer, and mentor, Brittany’s mission is deeply rooted in expanding opportunities for aspiring dancers, ensuring they have access to the training, resources, mentorship, and experiences needed to thrive in the dance industry. She believes that individualized attention, meaningful connections, and a supportive community are essential to helping every dancer reach their full potential. In March 2022, she founded FLEET Dance Coaching to nurture dancers mentally, physically, and artistically.

Her students' results speak to that commitment. Dancers she has coached have earned acceptances to summer programs including American Ballet Theatre, Alvin Ailey, School of American Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Orlando Ballet, Boston Ballet, Jacob's Pillow, The Rock School, and Dance Theatre of Harlem, among others.

As a mentor in the BFA dance admissions process, Brittany has also supported students who earned acceptances to SUNY Purchase, University of Southern California, George Mason University, Fordham University, and Marymount Manhattan College, among other institutions.

An American Ballet Theatre-certified educator, Brittany has received recognition from the Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation, Pretty Girls Sweat, and Brown Girls Do Ballet. Her honors include being named a June Ambrose × PUMA Neighbor-HOOD Hall of Famer and receiving the 2022 Best of Atlanta Award in Career Guidance.

For Brittany, dance education is about more than strong technique. It's about building confidence, discipline, and meaningful opportunities for young artists.
